Dear Supporters and Fans,
Well, it’s the first month of 2022. How did it go for your guys? My digital assistant suddenly quit, my entire family got COVID, I had Patreon try to pull my funding again, and I had to put down my cat of twelve years, but not before accruing $2500 in vet bills. 2022 is starting out great.
Seriously speaking though, I truly appreciate all of you who are sticking by me and continuing to support me. I know my releases aren’t what they used to be, and I honestly can’t tell when or if they will improve. Certainly February, which I’m taking a week off and is the shortest month… is NOT the month I’m going to sudden pop out 150,000 words.
However, I will continue to do my best to get you the content I promise. I thinking about decreasing my monthly goals to something I can actually follow through with reliably. It’s not decided, but maybe only three releases (9 chapters) of MDL, and once I finish MOTH, which is honestly so close to the end that the chapters I’ve missed these last two months probably would have been enough to finish it had I done them, I’ll probably just not start something knew just yet. We’ll see, no commitment right now.
Announcements:
- As you may be aware, my issues with Patreon has led me to doing a soft cut from them. I opened up a Subscribestar account and will no longer being posting any personal info on Patreon. It is still live, you will still get your codes, and your membership will work fine. The only thing that would be different is that I won’t be using it for messages or polls anymore.
- I got a new editor and they started getting me stuff back. MDL V14 will be published soon. I’m also half way through the WoW chapters. Understand that when I don’t have time to write normal chapters, you can pretty much guarantee I’m not writing bonus eBook chapters. Thus, releases are on the slow side.
- I had minimal success making up all of those missing chapters. I’ll probably hammer out what I can during my “week off”, and anything I don’t get to is going to be thrown away. That’s just how it will be. I was sick and a lot of stuff came up. The fact I’m even still trying to make these up I hope shows my commitment.
